Ari Storch, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Artemis Strategies, has more than fifteen years of experience in domestic and international politics, grassroots campaigns, public affairs, and marketing. Prior to his co-founding of Artemis Strategies, Mr. Storch was Vice President of Rhoads | Weber Shandwick Government Relations, a division of the Inter Public Group of Companies. While at Rhoads, Mr. Storch managed a significant number of the firm’s clients, particularly those focused on policy issues before the White House, the Congress and the various Federal Agencies.
Previously, Mr. Storch served as Senior Consultant to Cassidy & Associates, the country’s largest public affairs company, where he assisted the firm’s clients with their Congressional relations as well as managing the company’s consultant network. Concurrently, Mr. Storch was the Vice President of National Strategies, Inc., a national consulting company that manages state and municipal procurement efforts for its clients.
Prior to that experience, Mr. Storch served as the Political and Congressional Affairs Director for the Republican Jewish Coalition, a national grassroots organization focused on developing ties between Republican decision-makers and the Jewish community.
Mr. Storch began his political career working on behalf of the Government of Israel. Mr. Storch served four Israeli Prime Ministers, beginning with Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir as the Public Relations Officer at the Consulate General of Israel in Miami, Florida where Mr. Storch managed state government affairs, media relations and business and academic exchanges. Mr. Storch continued to serve in that position during the tenure of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin which coincided with the beginnings of the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. Following Prime Minister Rabin’s assassination, Mr. Storch became the in-house lobbyist at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C. for both the Shimon Peres and Benjamin Netanyahu governments. His responsibilities as the Congressional Affairs Officer included maintaining the annual foreign aid package for Israel as well as Congressional appropriations for the procurement by the United States military of several Israeli-made defense articles.
Mr. Storch has represented a diverse clientele including eBay, PSEG Energy, Bearing Point (Formerly KPMG Consulting), Monster.Com, Motorola, HJ Heinz, and MedImmune. Mr. Storch has also worked as a consultant to several federal, state and municipal candidates on issues as diverse as energy and the environment, foreign trade, policy and education.
In 2001, Mr. Storch was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as a Member of the United States Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. Mr. Storch is married to Kelly and together they have three children, a son Jacob and twin daughters Jordan and Ryann.
